"Over the 27 years that I have been Threading, I have come across a lot of Brows...good and bad. Mostly bad.
I am always dismayed, to see new clients walking in with Brows that definitely should have been so much better...but am always glad to have the opportunity of bringing them to where they should be. I have never turned down a challenge....

Before I started getting my eyebrows done, I had always gotten them waxed and they were never even! Then a good friend of mine introduced me to the Arch Angels family. My eyebrows have never looked better; they’re filled in, shaped and beautiful. Rekha is the sweetest person and treats everyone like her own family. Before I used to shave my eyebrows till was introduced to Rehka. She made my eyebrows look really good and I have been coming ever since, for 5 years now. ~ Brian My mom brought me to see Rheka about a year ago and now I won't let anyone else touch my eyebrows. 7/9/2013 I came to ArchAngels very skeptical of results, since I've been waxing for years. Is now been 6 months & I love my brows. can't believe the difference. My daughter and I used to get our eyebrows waxed. Our brows looked different after every waxing – thin, uneven, one smaller than the other! We thought … let’s try threading! I've been coming to Rekha for over six years now and I love their work is one of a kind eyebrow threading! I have tried other places that do the same thing but the outcome is never what it is when you come to ArchAngels! Before I tried threading I tweezed & waxed. Although I have to say I will never do that again or try any other place for threading. When your eyebrows are done right it makes your whole face look better!! I'm hooked! |

Rekha, Goddess of the Brow
Oh, alright, I'll admit I'm completely obsessed with eyebrows. I didn't pluck mine when I was young and I always had them professionally shaped (thankfully). I have a good arch and they are nice and full but I have extremely sparse hairs on the outer halves of my brows.
Quite few years ago I started noticing women with lovely shaped brows in the Providence area. When I inquired they ALL responded they were getting them threaded. O.K., well that was an easy transition. I too, joined the ranks of the fashionably "browed" women.
I stopped working in Providence so I started looking for someone to do my threading closer to home. I walked into New Boston Bakery and lo and behold - saw a pair of beautiful brows staring at me from behind the counter. And where were they done? Right across the street. At that moment I thought I saw a sure sign from the universe as a ray of light entered through the window and cast a glow right on the face of that pretty girl!
Well, I walked right over and met Rekha, made an appointment and the rest is history. My eyebrows looked nice before but Rikka takes them a step further. She truly is an artist. I didn't know my brows could look that lovely, that perfect, that close up ready. Her attention to detail is impeccable. She never falters. I would be hard pressed to find a hair left behind- ever! And the arch......
And, the story doesn't end there. A few months ago Rekha tattooed my brows. Yes, tattooed- to fill in those super sparse ends. It was a MAJOR decision for me. I like to look natural. I have to say the idea of not penciling my brows day after day for the rest of my life won me over.
As in the usual Rekha style we talked about every little detail and there was no rush. She explained everything to me. I felt good about the color being all natural and fading to a soft "background powdered" look. And that's just what it did.
It really was a big decision for me but I'm so happy now. I can go to a pool or take or take a nap without my brows "disappearing". Not one single person knew I had anything done. There is a healing time where the color is intense. I let the color fade and we did a touch up. It was reassuring to know it might fade a lot (as opposed to being too dark).
I can honestly say I would never have considered the tattooing with anyone else- but seeing Rekha's work time and time again made me feel like I was in capable hands.
Now I feel like I have the eyebrows of a goddess, thanks to the Goddess herself!
